I’ve created a Volunteer Local account. How do I sign up for volunteer shifts?
1. Login to your Volunteer Local account.
2. Choose how you would like to sort shifts (by job is the default)
3. Click the + to see details
4. Select your shifts
5. Scroll down and click the Sign Up to Volunteer button
6. Check your email for your email confirmation
Can I change the shift view?
Yes, switch between job, date, or calendar view.
Where can my volunteer shifts that I’ve signed up for be viewed?
Your shifts are listed on your profile page.
How can I access my profile?
Click the “open your profile” button in your confirmation emails or request a new link from the Volunteer Calendar page.
How can I cancel a volunteer shift?
Cancel shifts directly from your profile page. If it is within 24 hours of your scheduled shift please also
text Sara at 612-743-2466. Please include your name and reason for cancellation.
How can my friends/family volunteer with Bluebirds?
Starting December 10th, the new volunteer application will be available on the Get Involved page
of bluebirdsandblooms.com.
How can I see who else is signed up for a volunteer shift with me?
Click on the specific shift, then select “View Description” to see other volunteers.
Is there an app I can use on my phone?
Yes, download the Volunteer Local app on your phone, login and sign up for volunteer shifts!
